After over a year of "working" on this project in the "land of manana", we prevailed, secured our liquor permit, and are now open serving cold beer and beverages, beer battered fish and shrimp tacos, soup, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and other barfood and snacks.

Club de Capitanes/Captains Club de San Carlos is a new "harbor hangout", located one block east of Marina San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. We are about a half block away from Marina Terra Hotel and across the street from Surface Time Dive Shop with great views of the marina and Tetakawe peaks. San Carlos is located on the Sea of Cortez, 250 miles south of the US/Mexico border at Nogales, off of Federal Highway 15 and Bahia San Carlos provides one of the safest hurricane holes on the sea and the near by bays and caletas provide excelent sailing and exceptional anchorages, fishing and diving. Land based activities also abound in the nearby desert mountains and beautiful sandy beaches.

The "Club" is a cantina/seafood taqueria, open to everyone, offering a multitude of services to the cruising, sport fishing, and diving communities as well as the community of San Carlos in general. We will be offering sport fishing, diving, and sailing trips, boat lettering and graphics, boat maintenance and repair, a purified water machine, propane drop off service and bike and kayak rentals among other things. Wireless internet is also available. Phase II will be the beer garden with a palapa front and relaxed seating with lots of plants and shade. Phase III will be 3 efficiency rental units on the second floor of the existing building.

Luis Francisco "Pancho" Apericio is the artist responsible for painting many boat names, graphics, signs and murals around the marina and in homes in San Carlos. He also does carving in rock and wood. The quality of work and materials used are of high quality and all work is guaranteed.
